Big Shell Moth

Found this big moth around 5:30 am when I stopped to get gas on my way to surf the other day.

Space Rock

We found this cool rock on the beach that clearly came from outer space.

On our way back from the beach we stopped to get gas. I clearly picked the right gas station to stop at.

OBX Edition -- Triceritops Jelly!

There were millions of little jellyfish all over the beach our last day in the Outer Banks. Some of them had cool/scary little horn things. I liked this little Triceratops Jelly!

OBX Edition -- Pink Rocket Ship!

It's been a long time since I've found a Pink Rocket Ship! The first time was when I was about 8 or 9. A friend and I found a bunch of these Pink Rocket Ships someone had thrown out. They were on the street corner by a trash bag some animal had ripped open. Lucky us! We grabbed a few Pink Rockets each and ran off pretending they were from the James Bond movie that had the rocket that opened up in the front and ate the other space craft. Notice how they have the opening on the front just like in the movie. Any way later that day I showed my Mom the cool Pink Rockets. She didn't really seemed as excited about them as I was. After she explained what they were used for I relied why and didn't complain when she told me to go wash my hands.

This was the top of the dresser in our room in the historic beach cottage we stayed at in the Outer Banks, NC for my annual family vacation. The cottage was pretty neat. It was old, kind of spooky and had lots and lots of doors many of which seemed to go nowhere (maybe they were for the ghosts?).

Little Crab

Saw this little crab on the beach today. It is the smallest live crab I have seen at Ocean Beach. It was maybe 3-4 inches across.

3D PIZZA!!!

OH SHIT! Our pizza place just took it to my next level! We ordered a pizza to pick up last night and this is what we got! When we saw the box up on the rack I almost lost it. When they guy got the pizza he said, "Hey look it's in 3d." Then there were some funny references made, I gave them a good tip and walked out with a huge smile.


And of course in stereo 3d but this doesn't show off the text colors as well. But how could I put 3d pizza up with out a 3d picture right?

Ocean Beach Cryptozoology

Rare sighting of the O.B. Giant Sea Horse-Giraffe creature. This is the only that came out. I guess in the excitement I didn't get the camera settings or direction right. I guess the shadow is proof enough though right? Does anyone know what it's official name is?

Punk Rock Pizza

Our local pizza place, The Pizza Place on Noriega, has a lot of punk rockers working there. When Linda orders our pizza to go her name is usually all punk rock.

ACK! Trash Baby! In 3D!

This little trash baby gave Linda a fright the other day.

I don't think these pictures do the creepiness of the trash baby justice. It was really really creepy to open up the trash and see it in there even after I knew what it was. I think Linda's first thought must have been something like, "Fuck! A dead baby in our trash!"

...that the mid tide line at Ocean Beach, San Francisco has become a tow-away zone Monday-Saturday. This is what I imagine my street (48th Ave, it's right by the beach) in SF to look like in a few years due to global warming. At least it will be in 3D -:[]

Hello Kitties!

It's a Hello Kitty gym ball in 3D!

And our two new(ish) kitties, Pistol and Inky. I'll let you figure out which is which.

I say newish because they have been putting up with us for about 3 months now. Not sure why I haven't posted a picture of them yet but they totally fit today's theme. I think they are about 7 months old and super cuddly in this 3D! picture.

Window Crystals Are Cool

I have always loved the cool ice crystals that form in the windows of airlines. Here is a close up of the little tine hole in the window with lots of little ice crystals. In 3D!

Trash Rabbit II

I just liked the way this log looked in the ivy.
